"The vow of Chastity, as is the case for the other vows, is ordered toward 'Caritas', the love that is the very life of God. Note that it does not confer the relationship with God but it is a way to find and love God. Again, like poverty and obedience, it is one's choice as to how this vow is lived. One is careful not to become selfish, but selfless, and hopefully, cooperates with God's grace so that her heart freed from the need to possess is widely opened to love so many people simply because God loves her and makes her a vehicle of His love. It is the excitement and adventure of life to make this choice each day of exploring and finding a new way to love."
